A pair of one of the UK’s most astounding producers, Rae & Christian make a return with their third full length album “Mercury Rising”, scheduled for release on 20th October. Tapping into the core of 1970s folk music while adding the influence of electronica and Hip-Hop, the duo’s focus for the upcoming record was to capture a distinct British feel without being pigeonholed into one era. Guests include Ed Harcourt, Gita Langley, Jazzy Jeff, Melbourne, Australia’s Agent 86, Masta Ace and Mark Foster.

One of the songs taken from “Mercury Rising” is “1975” featuring the Sam Genders of Diagrams, a folk meets electronic combination that exemplifies vivid storytelling; showcasing the importance of creative lyrics to equally match the organic sounding production.

“Mercury Rising” will be released on Night Time Stories 20th October.
