Back in 2022 NYC-based artist Millie Gibson released her debut EP Own Drum, a luxurious blend of jazz and soul which comfortably showcased her ability as a powerful vocalist. Now in 2024, the singer makes her return with her latest track ‘Ripple’.

Not missing a beat in that two year span, Gibson delivers a straight ahead lush jazz recording which again demonstrates her uncanny ability to use her voice as an instrument. With the production nothing short of pristine, the blissful soundscape operates as the perfect palette for Millie Gibson to soar. “My main inspiration for writing ‘Ripple’ was to audibly capture what my soul was going through during that time of my life. When I think of this song and what it truly means to me, I sense an energy of depression but also an ounce of hope that pushes through the ‘ripple effect’ to encourage positive change within myself and those around me.”
