Lovebirds, the alias of German producer Sebastian Doering, heads back to a particular sound of the 80s in this ‘808ies Matrix’ edit of his track “Holdin On” featuring house mainstay Lisa Shaw. With the Roland TR-808 drum machine in full swing, the synth heavy funk/r&b inspired recording makes you want to two step with a champagne glass or either break out the old school b-boy moves. “Holdin On” is out May 19 on Defected Records.
