It almost feels like Joe Goddard can do no wrong musically. Case in point, this track “She Burns” featuring the great voice of Mara Carlyle is so hypnotic that you begin to feel as if the 8 minute song is too short. Although the rhythm moves with a 4×4 kick, there is a sensual pop aesthetic to it. Goddard uses the deep bassline to accompany the arrangement rather than dominate it which makes every element included in the song perfectly balanced.
