Having grown up with a health dose of music ranging from pop to grime, South London artist Jessica Winter makes a splash with her new single ‘Let’s Keep This Shallow’. With Fat White Family’s Alex White and Warren Mansfield of Meatraffle providing the opening horns intro, the song transitions into a bass-shaking, trap-influenced pounder. Winter delivers these pop styled vocals which add a balance to the husky production. Punchy with flair, ‘Let’s Keep This Shallow’ is an excellent follow-up to her dreamy single ‘Sleep Forever’.

Touching on the song, Jessica Winter said:

“It seems to me that everything’s become a lot more individualist. There’s obvious reasons for that but we still engage with one another because we have to so it’s a song about navigating other people who are necessary in your life.”
