Bangalore-raised, London-based artist Ishani has shared her powerful track ‘Dark Angel’. Whilst the production boasts elements of head-nodding trip-hop, the lyrical content revolves around the loss of friends to suicide. With the track swirling with melancholy, there is also a comforting factor as Ishani vocally stands as a shoulder to lean on. This is undoubtedly her best release yet.

Regarding the song, Ishani stated:

“This song was pure therapy. It has helped me cope with the death of two of my friends, both of which turned my whole world upside down. I hope this song can help others. So many people are affected by suicide, whether it is the death of someone close to us or an idol.”
