Listen to HAARM’s Tropical Single ‘Take Me Away’

Liverpool band HAARM have returned with their latest single ‘Take Me Away’. Produced by Al Groves, the song is an upbeat dose of alt-pop that is utterly festive and vibrant. An added tropical feel to the production helps to create a sun-kissed offering that lifts the spirit, not to mention will make anyone want to dance. There are also gospel vocals that appear towards the end of the tune. An overall fantastic release, ‘Take Me Away’ is a track that is seriously needed during these uncertain times.

Regarding the single, HAARM singer Jen Davies mentioned:

“We’ve predominantly written more melancholy songs in the past. Our lyrics are usually centred around themes of isolation, self-destruction, failed relationships—all a little too close to home at the moment. ‘Take Me Away’ is intended as a moment of euphoria; a release from those thoughts. Of course, we wrote it several months ago now, but it feels more important than ever to have written something uplifting in the current situation.”
