Listen to Egyptian Blue’s Post-Punk Cut ‘To Be Felt’

Brighton-based band Egyptian Blue have shared their new single ‘To Be Felt’. Produced by Theo Verney, the song is an explosive post-punk tune firing with fuzzy guitar liners, in your face vocals and thundering drum kicks. Factor in a dose of psychedelic in the mix and what you have here is an exciting wave of musical goodness from the lively band. ‘To Be Felt’ is out now on Permanent Creeps Records.

Touching on the song, Andy Buss stated:

“We definitely lost a couple of weeks somewhere, basically testing ourselves in an attempt to feel more connected to the world around us. Instead, we just ended up feeling even more detached, as if we were sleep-walking through each day. That’s where the line “to be half-asleep and half-awake all the time” comes from. What started off as a way to feel more affinity with those around us just seemed to make us more detached, so essentially the track is about finding that connection again. I think the police got called at some point, but we’re ok now, honest!”
