Toronto-based artist Debbie Friday dropped her killer debut album GOOD LUCK via Sub Pop back in March of this year. Winning the 2023 Polaris Music Prize for the LP, she now makes her return with a follow-up single titled ‘let u in’.

Continuing her mission of melding together experimental electronica and pop, Debby Friday takes the sounds of drum & bass, adding a tender touch to it. With the production of the song being quite atmospheric, she glides over the rhythm with airy vocals, creating a state of musical bliss. Debby Friday is definitely injecting a needed uniqueness to the pop landscape. Have a listen.
