Stream Common & No ID’s “War”

No ID recently gave a taste of a new Common song titled “War”, a grim look at violence in the inner cities, comparing the conditions to a soldier heading to battle. The gritty, militant production is a nod to what many would consider the “golden age” of Hip-Hop. The hook pulls from the intro line of Mobb Deep’s “Shook One’s Pt. 2”.

Common recently spoke with Revolt TV about the his new album produced by entirely by No ID called “Nobody Smiling”, which focuses on the continuing violence in his hometown of Chicago, as well as many cities around the world.
