Having drawn a following over the past number of years playing around London, Brian Grogan finally makes his proper debut with the single ‘Reach’. A brilliant hybrid of indie folk and pop, the honest qualities of the song writing and the tender instrumentation makes this one charming release. Whilst many songs dropped by artists of today are loud scrambles to gain attention, Grogan takes the opposite approach by reeling listeners in with delicacy and an organic grounding of pleasurable melodies, clever lyricism and touching vocals. This is truly a treat.
