Having already started a solid foundation building from her collaboration with HONNE on the songs ‘More Than Friends’ and ‘Crying Over You’, singer BEKA has shared her new single ‘My One’, which follows her solo debut track ‘I’ll Be There’.

A bubbling and uptempo offering, ‘My One’ finds BEKA unapologetically dissecting the notion of love over racing production that incorporates a bit of synthpop in the mix. Touching on the track, BEKA said:

“My one is, on the surface, a song about love. I wrote it for that…lose yourself in your bedroom with your hair brush…moment. I was done with censoring my words when it came to this crazy topic that we talk about so loosely, easily and freely, but actually feels like the most insane, never ending, mix and mash of feelings. Whether it’s love with your best friend, your person, your partner, or yourself, love feels unwritable. I wanted this song to be about that feeling of liberation, when you decide to be brave and no longer confine yourself to what seems like a ‘normal’ way of expressing yourself, but to be upfront and honest about the mess and the magic that is…love.”
