There are two types of cover versions in our opinion – there is the one that is lackluster in comparison to the original and the one that completely blows the original out of the water. In the case of Canadian band ROMES, we will give them the latter. Bringing forth their rendition of the Drake track ‘One Dance’, they deliver a completely different sound, meshing indie pop and heavy-running electronica. In all honesty, it’s sort of better than Drizzy’s. Now of course this will probably foster unncessary hate from Drake fans, but hey, maybe he should have enlisted ROMES to provide the music from the start. Have a listen below.
