In this day and age, house records come and go quicker than one hit YouTube sensations. Yet when a great house track is spot-on, it gets played like an anthem, eventually moving on to the possibility of being a classic. Parisian producer Lemy Leopard and UK mainstay, as well as taste-maker Simbad have come together to produce an outstanding piece of 4×4 heaven with their new EP Vibin. Out July 27th on the City Fly label, the title cut is a spacey and future-forward bit peppered with traces of the classic New York house sound, whilst ‘Cosmic Energie’ continues a drive down the road of a deep, soulful and atmospheric style that is simply timeless. If it’s house at it’s purest that you’re looking for, this is right-on the money. Lemy Leopard and Simbad have definitely made the Summer livelier with this record.
