Releasing her third album Cautionary Tales of Youth back in January of 2023, Låpsley returns with a new single and video called ‘4AM Ascension Day’.

The visuals which are directed by Jeanne Buchi, feature the UK singer sleeping whilst being tied by a rope. Other clips find her trying to hold on to a bunch of flying kites but ultimately losing control, having to let them fly in the wind. These are all symbols representing grips of the past but also the idea of sometimes one not being able to control the emotions that are involved. Not to mention the ultimate ending, which is letting go.
