Polish-born, Ireland-based producer Krissky is set to release his forthcoming EP Tra Li Story on October 24 via Otake Records. Comprised of four tracks, Krissky blasts off with a heavy dose of deep house beautifully constructed and refined.
Starting off the EP with ‘No Future No Past’, driving drum kicks and a thick bass line is topped with melodic piano riffs whilst a thin layering of static fills the space. Delving more into a deep tech sound with ‘The Strips’, the piano yet again adds a distinct texture to the production, brilliantly picking up from the latter. ‘Things’ is a further deep and spacey journey with a Detroit techno sprinkling whilst the EP is rounded out by ‘Three Days Later’, a jazzy house offering with the sound of an echoing trumpet gliding atop a rumbling percussion to bring home the voyage.
Tra Li Story is an EP for those who love the sounds of deep house orchestrated for more than just the dance floor but also for the listening experience. Having pulled off both feats, Krissky has scored a winning goal with this release.
