Berlin-based artist Victoria Trunova aka KOY continues to marry boundary pushing music and the digital world with her new EP entitled Dictatorship Techno. Comprised of 9 tracks (four being interludes), Trunova creates an alchemy of experimental pop, ground-breaking electronica and more. A soundtrack to what the future sounds like, Trunova is comfortably strolling down the musical lane of artists such as Björk and Kate Bush, yet developing an intricate sound that is unique and brilliantly refreshing.

Touching on the EP, KOY stated:

“Dictatorship Techno is my reflection upon contemporary society’s ideologies. A take on rigid structures that often leave no space for personal freedom, no matter how good or bad the cause. The work addresses contemporary beliefs, hopes, longing and fears about the “oracle” that is the internet, and about what it means to be humane within the digital sphere.”
