French producer Konvex & The Shadow (or KATS for short) brings forth an extremely impressive recording to the OFF label entitled “Shooting Star” featuring the bluesy vocals of singer Frag. Venturing over to the deeper side of tech house, KATS’ production acts as a brilliantly balanced palette for excellent lyrical content and the sensibilities of the dancefloor. OFF Recordings boss Andre Crom contributes a beat-thumping remix, whilst an added dub version of the track explores a more gritty and stripped-down version of the original.
