Having made his rounds in the house scene releasing music on respected labels such as MadTech, Cajual and more, as well as his Origins imprint, Josh Butler has fired off an explosive round of 4×4 with his new EP Strategem. Out on Rejected, the three-song record is a well-crafted array of deep, nightly grooves with a notch of tech stirred in the mix. The EP follows Butler’s Heroes Of House series, which included collaborations with house music pillars Todd Terry, Marshall Jefferson and Robert Owens, as well as Sante, Darius Syrossian and Bontan.
