It’s hard to believe that it’s been 5 years since the release of Jamie xx’s debut LP ‘In Colour’. While he hasn’t been totally quiet in terms of lending his talents to musical projects, as well as The xx’s 2017 LP I See You, fans have surely craved new solo material for a bit now.

2020 now finds Jamie xx giving the world a new single titled ‘idontknow’. The track is a hyper-racing, drum-furious electronic offering equipped with manic change-ups and filtered, panned vocals added in the mix. We’re probably right to assume that this was tailored to drop heavy in the clubs. While the world patiently awaits for that part of life to return back to normal, ‘idontknow’ can at least make you dance around frantically in your home. Check it out.
