As the Electric Daisy Carnival is scheduled to take place this year in London, Insomniac has launched the Discovery Project, a competition for up and coming producers to get the chance to play at EDC.

Producers of various styles of electronic music simply have to fill out an entry form, sumbit a 30 minute mix that is recorded in real time via Mixcloud and submit an original track via Soundcloud. Winners of the competition will get the chance to play at the Electric Daisy Carnival London. One winner will get the chance to play at Data Transmission’s New Talent slot and six runner ups will get the opportunity to have their mixes posted on the Data Transmission website. The deadline for the competition is July 1st.

This year EDC London line up includes Alesso, Chuckie, Crookers, AVICII, Dirty South, Nervo and more. The event takes place on 20th July at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
