Singer, producer and musician Gazel has unveiled a new remix package of her single ‘Rain Is Coming’. Along with contributing to the reworks herself, Gazel has also enlisted Hessle label co-founder Kevin ‘Pangaea’ McAuley, as well as Brazilian, London-based producer Mixhell to provide their remix skills. Whilst Pangaea pushes the song to club territory with a tech house makeover, Mixhell slows down the tempo for more of a hedonistic and nocturnal offering.

The remix pack comes ahead of Gazel’s forthcoming debut album Gazel’s Book Of Souls, out October 4th.

Touching on the album, Gazel stated:

“When writing Gazel’s Book of Souls I knew I wanted to create a mythological structure of the unconscious mind – like an imaginary psychic map. I wanted a theme for each song, each representing a different aspect of the human psychic tendency – grief, growth, technology, symbolism, problems of identity and belief in the mind’s fabrications. Gazel’s Book of Souls is music that explores dreams, consciousness and the great mystery of the human mind.”
