Franz Ferdinand are chosen to partake in one of the most eclectic compilation series, “Late Night Tales” for the new LNT installment. Selecting 20 influential tracks throughout a range of the musical spectrum, the Scottish band have included songs such as Serge Gainsbourg’s “Requiem Pour Un Con”, Disco Dub Band’s “For The Love Of Money” and the Lee “Scratch” Perry cut “Disco Devil”. Franz Ferdinand have also recorded a cover version of Jonathan Halper’s “Leaving My Old Life Behind”, which is also featured on the new release. A music lesson to say the least, “Late Night Tales: Franz Ferdinand” is available for purchase September 8th.
