The Godfather of house Frankie Knuckles has revitalized one of his classic records, “The Whistle Song”. Originally released in 1991, the record was a seminal piece of perfection which has stood the test of time for 20 years. Now to coincide with the anniversary of his legendary DefMix, Frankie Knuckles has decided to re-release the track, reconstructing for today. Teaming up with Eric Kupper, the most recent version is sonically fit for modern times yet still maintains the integrity of the original feel. “The Whistle Song (Re-Directed)” will be available on Oct. 15th, 2012.
