Helsinki’s Femme En Fourrure get darker than dark in their video ‘Smell’. Directed by Miikka Lommi, vocalist Sandra Tervonen almost resembles a Virgin Mary-like being with the exception of black mascara resembling tears dripping beneath her eyes. There is also a muscular women posing in provocative moves throughout the video, not to mention a seductive dancer with the top of her face painted black and gold palms moving in a sensual manner. It is a bit twisted and bizarre but at the same time, there’s an allurement to it that makes it highly interesting like most of Femme En Fourrure’s work. Have a look.
