Eliza Shaddad can’t do wrong in our eyes. Sure, she has released some amazing recordings over the past few years ranging from folk to alternative including the tune ‘Waters’. And yes her post-punk influenced track ‘Wars’ was one of our faves of 2015. The London singer, songwriter and musician now proves that her fire will far from burn out with her latest single ‘Run’. An epic dealing of guitar-driven alt-rock, Shaddad’s fierceness combined with radiant vocals makes ‘Run’ another marvelous release by the powerhouse entertainer. The Run EP is out March 18th via Beatnik Creative.
In a press statement regarding ‘Run’, Eliza Shaddad wrote:
“This song has a life of its own, and I think half our total studio time was probably spent just trying to tame it. It’s merciless in parts, musically, and lyrically, and a total beast to play live; getting to the end in one piece can actually be kind of cathartic.”
