London band Dry Cleaning have announced the release of their third studio album titled Secret Love. Set to land January 9th on 4AD, the new work is the follow-up to their 2022 LP Stumpwork. The group have also shared the lead-off single called ‘Hit My Head All Day’.

Continuing to musically push beyond their original post-punk sound, Dry Cleaning drops the BPM down with ‘Hit My Head All Day’, fostering more of a moody indie, and dark pop blend, with a splash of new wave. The jagged guitar line throughout the cut is juxtaposed with more calming synths, and an easing bass line, all topped with the laidback vocals of front woman Florence Shaw. It will be interesting to hear Dry Cleaning’s sonic explorations on the upcoming album. Have a listen below.
