BassLaced Present: Digital Soundboy Summer Boat Party
Kicking off the summer partying festivities in true nautical fashion BassLaced presents a one-off boat party with Digital Soundboy on Saturday 8th June aboard the Dixie Queen steamboat, docked at Tower Millenium Pier.
The brainchild of D&B icon Shy FX, Digital Soundboy has lead the way in groundbreaking UK dance music for almost a decade and will be taking to the Thames for a carnival-esque boat party that brings a slice of the beach festival experience into the heart of London.
Joining Shy FX on deck will be a range talent from the of Digital Soundboy stable such as Radio 1’s golden girl B.Traits , Dubstep and D&B aficionado Breakage, Rinse FM’s Dismantle as well as the newest members of the DSB family – the House-leaning Lazune and expert bass merchant Champion.
Being a man that has witnessed all the progressions of UK Dance music from Garage to Dubstep to House, Zed Bias is more than welcome special guest for the party. Known for landmark releases on flagship bass label Swamp 81 as well as Tru Thoughts and Julio Bashmore’s Broadwalk imprint (both under his Maddslinky alias) the Mancunian has effortless kept in line with the changing mood of the UK underground without ever pandering to fads and trends.
Once the boat comes back from its four-hour voyage the party continues over at Concrete for an all-star after party in the intimate Shoreditch basement space with special guests from the Digital Soundboy family continuing the party vibes until the witching hour.
