Desire Return for Their New Single ‘Tears From Heaven’

It’s been literally nine years since Desire released their debut album ‘II’. However, Johnny Jewel, Megan Louise and Nat Walker have reunited with the aim of releasing a new LP next year. The first taste of the upcoming recording comes in the form of their latest single ‘Tears From Heaven’. The band first gave a debut of the track at the spring/summer 2019 Chanel runway show in Paris. ‘Tears From Heaven’ is out via the Italians Do It Better imprint.

Touching on the single, Meg Louise said:

“‘Tears From Heaven’ is a song about crossing the divide between being a voyeur on the sidelines of your own life and taking action to make your own destiny. Heaven is a metaphor for life after death. A leap into the great unknown. If you never knock on the door, it will never open. In the song, the tears represent raindrops pouring down from the clouds washing away all of the dirt and confusion. The mundane obstacles of the daily routine are pushed aside for a clearer vision of what’s to come.”
