Defected Records’ legendary House Masters series have placed the spotlight on many important figures of the scene including Masters at Work, Derrick Carter, Osunlade and more. Now the label places the emphasis on someone who has been at the forefront of releasing some of the hottest disco, soul, funk and house tracks stemming back to 1988, Dave Lee aka Joey Negro.

For this release Lee has compiled 14 songs ranging from original production to remixes including Blaze’s “Wishing You Were Here” and Masters at Work’s “Backfired”. Defected Presents House Masters Joey Negro is out May 11th, 2015. You can stream a mixtape of the forthcoming LP below.
