Labels Def Mix and SoSure Music have come together to release a new single by the late Frankie Knuckles entitled ‘Boyz’. Recorded under Knuckles’ Director’s Cut title (the name of his production team with Eric Kupper), the new single features the vocals of Chicago singer Jamie Principle, whose collaboration work with Frankie Knuckles stems back to 1986. Along with the original version, the ‘Boyz!’ package will also include a remix by David Morales, as well as UK production duo Farley & Heller. ‘Boyz!’is out January 29.

In a press statement regarding ‘Boyz!’, Eric Kupper wrote:

“The first time I heard this song, it truly made me smile. I know it made Frankie smile as well – and I know he’s smiling now, seeing it’s release. It is an honor and a pleasure to be a part of this record.”
