Canadian producer Datsik joins forces with none other than Snoop Dogg for the single ‘Smoke Bomb’, out now on Ultra Music. Whilst the element of electronica is definitely embedded, the production gives a nod towards the classic West Coast gangster sound that Snoop is definitely no stranger to. In a press statement regarding the single, Datsik wrote:

“Overly excited to have worked with the Doggfather himself…he’s been one of my favorite rappers since I can remember; like straight up since I was like 10 years old,” says DATSIK. “I used to steal my older brothers CD’s and bump it in my room and one of them was his album Doggystyle. I wanted to bring back some of that hellafide gangster flavor that got me into it from the start and mash it into something new, but hella familiar. Big respect to Snoop!!!”
