Berlin’s Cosey Mueller returns with a new single and video titled ‘Der Politiker’, the first offering from her upcoming album Embodiment of Denial, which is out May 22nd on Bretford Records.

Doing what she does best, which is blending post-punk, new wave, and electronica, Cosey Mueller delivers a cheeky critique of today’s politicians. Highlighting their continuous rhetoric of empty promises and thin talking points, the upbeat track is paired with perfectly matching visuals of a politician cosplaying as someone of the ‘straight and narrow’ by day but indulging in the freakier side by night. Towards the end of the video Mueller herself runs for President, which in reality would probably be a great thing! Have a look.
