When it comes to Hip-Hop, both Chicago’s Common and New York producer extraordinaire Pete Rock have undoubtedly earned the title of icons. With their forthcoming collaborative album The Auditorium Vol. 1 out July 12th, the two have dropped a new single and video dubbed ‘All Kind Of Ideas’.

The track itself features that classic, soulful Pete Rock production that launched him into most Hip-Hop fans’ Top 5 greatest producers of all time list. Pete also drops bars on the track, something that he has been doing since the 90s with CL Smooth. In one of his lines he actually says “Keep your top 5, I’m God’s greatest producer”. Of course Common has never been a slouch on the mic so you can expect top tier lyricism that is also ripe with cultured messaging.

The video is directed by Marleaux Desiré and ILLIMITÉWORLD. It features a guest appearance by none other than Black Thought of The Roots. This is just raw, no filler Hip-Hop that many people have been craving over the years. Check it out.
