Back in 1977, WIRE released their groundbreaking debut LP Pink Flag. Whilst the band continued to release albums over the years including their 2015 self-titled LP and their recent Nocturnal Koreans. However, between 1980 to 1982, frontman Colin Newman recorded three solo albums. A-Z, Provisionally Entitled The Singing Fish and Not To were all important LPs in the post-punk and new wave scene. Now Newman’s solo records are getting re-issued with the first A-Z landing October 28th via Sentient Sonics. The first single taken from the album is the brilliant post-punk piece ‘Order For Order’.
Colin Newman’s three solo albums have been remastered and will include a extra bonus tracks.
