We’re not sure what’s in the water in Cardiff these days but currently the city is a hotbed of musical talent. One band who definitely has something special is Clwb Fuzz, whose latest single ‘No Heaven’ is absolutely magical. Built on a seducing guitar riff, funky drumming and a sexy, driving bass line all topped off with the lush vocals of singer Emily Kocan, ‘No Heaven’ is nothing short of incredible. “Instrumentally I recall listening to a lot of The Breeders, their album Pod specifically I had on repeat a lot. I’ve always been a big fan of Kim Deal and her dominant bass-lines and feminine vocals with elegant yet menacing hints of filth, I really like that.”
