Danish duo Mono Mono describe themselves as an electro-pop band, however, the pair have a knack for tapping into the darker side of the sound incorporating eerie electronica and nocturnal jazz bits. With their song ‘Helium Balloon’, the two play with a hazy spraying of experimental trip-hop as pounding drums and shattering, echoing snares are the under palette to the bluesy vocals of Karoline Elsig.
