Having given fans of taste of her forthcoming album with the tracks ‘Midsummer Night’ and ‘Shattered Heart’, Louise Lemón returns with the third offering titled ‘Tears as Fuel’. All of the songs are taken from her LP Lifetime of Tears, landing February 2024.
‘Tears as Fuel’ is a lush, slow burning handing of dark rock that is deals with the tolerance of the pain associated with a turbulent love. Lemón’s airy vocals lifts the already atmospheric production, overall delivering a tune that is highly representative of her death gospel sound. Below is a stream of ‘Tears as Fuel’.
Touching on the Tears as Fuel’, Louise Lemón said:
“When all you have with someone is tears, you will drink those up like they are wine. I started telling myself, If love is true, he’ll truly hurt you, cause why else would there only be these tears. When you have nothing, pain is something, so sometimes you’d rather hold on to that than be left with nothing. The musicians I play with went above and beyond incorporating their passion and making this pain come to life and become something that is love.”
