Check Out Annie Taylor’s ‘Ride High’

Swiss outfit Annie Taylor are prepping for the release of their new album Inner Smile, which is out on July 7th via Taxi Gauche Records. Previously giving listeners a taste of what’s to come with the track ‘Love Is Blind’, Annie Taylor now give us their latest single ‘Ride High’.

‘Ride High’ is an easy and reeling indie gem with a 90s feel that is spearheaded by the sleek vocal performance of Annie Taylor front woman Gini Jungi. With breezy guitar riffs, head bopping drumming, and thick but subtle bass line play, everything falls into place like pieces to one stunning puzzle. Having already shown that they are highly efficient and effective when it comes to crafting various styles of rock & roll, Annie Taylor yet again deliver a fantastic summertime tune.

Annie Taylor have also dropped an accompanying Cameron Holland-directed video to the single, which finds the band cruising around the city of Los Angeles. Have a look.

Touching on ‘Ride High’, Gini Jungi said:

“‘Ride High’ is a song that speaks to the universal experience of feeling lost and disconnected from those we love…Sometimes I feel like friends and family are drifting away, following different paths in life. Of course, that hurts, but also makes me realise how important it is to look closely on our own path of life and that everyone is responsible for their own luck somehow.”
