Dior Homme Taps The xx’s Oliver Sims and More for S/S 16 Campaign

Luxury fashion brand Dior Homme calls upon photographer Willy Vanderperre to shoot the new spring/summer 2016 campaign. No stranger to collaborating with creative director Kris Van Assche, the ad stars Oliver Sims of The xx along with artist Rinus Van de Velde, actor Alain-Fabien Delon and Victor Nylander. The campaign will also be accompanied by a short film titled Stranger in a Room, featuring Sims performing the song which is taken Jamie xx's album 'In Colour'.

Saint Laurent Women’s Spring/Summer 2016 Campaign

Saint Laurent unveil their new Skin collection in their 2016 spring/summer women's campaign. Rather than the moody, heavy contrast imagery of previous, Hedi Slimane opts-in for brighter photographs of the models and attire situated alongside pics of landscape. Placing crowns on the head of the models, the clothing sways on the influence of grunge which include oversize denim jackets, leopard teddy jackets, fur capes and rubber boots.

Minimal yet beautifully shot, the images highlight key pieces such as the hairy, Italian-wool overcoat, the Klint rain coat, the ribbed roll-neck sweater, as well as the Gerd moleskin, high-rise skirt. Sleek and classic, Norse Projects continue to pump out sophisticated yet functional attire.

Nowness Presents ‘The Jellyfish’

Swedish clothing company COS and the London Contemporary Music Festival come together for a fashionable interaction between man and sea creature in this Leigh Johnson-directed film 'The Jellyfish'. The short movie documents a bond between a girl and a jellyfish that she has caught and placed in a jar whilst highlighting COS's minimal and functional attire. Eventually the young women comes to terms with letting go of the species and placing it back in its original habitat. The music in the film comes courtesy of Pauline Oliveros and Maggie Payne. Having premiered in Cinecittà, Rome before the showing of the Métiers d'Art collection, the short biopic of Gabrielle Chanel also features Jérémie Elkaïm, François Marthouret, Jamie Bochert, Amanda Harlech, Laura Brown, Baptiste Giabiconi and Jake Davies.
