With her new EP Red Tape, Vol. 2 currently in the works, Caitlyn Scarlett flexes a bit of muscle on her latest single ‘B.I.G’. Bouncy low end bass booms alongside Scarlett as she goes all the way in with attitude and sass on the song which weaves between Hip-Hop, R&B and pop. Produced by Eddy Atlantis, this is definitely a big tune, no pun intended, that we can’t get enough of.

Regarding the single, Caitlyn Scarlett mentioned:

“B.I.G is an overly arrogant, slightly vulgar and completely childish ego-trip track. I wanted to capture and distill that feeling of heinous ambition and “I’ll show you!!!!” a person feels when they’ve been put down and picked themselves back up many times over. For the cover artwork I decided to use a picture of me as a child with my red toy microphone, in hopes it would help people make the connection between immaturity and the root of the lyrics. The production is by Eddy Atlantis, who has a sort of ‘superego’ within his artistry as well, his sound makes the song exactly what it should be. This is a song for the underdogs, outcasts, singletons, drama queens/kings and those who don’t take themselves too seriously!”
