Boy Harsher have announced the release of their new album The Runner, which is an original soundtrack to their new film boasting the same title. Slated to land January 21st via Nude Club/City Slang, the forthcoming record marks the band’s fifth LP.

The Runner film was written and directed by Boy Harsher, with it said to be a combination of a horror flick and a documentary highlighting the group’s recording and creative process.

Boy Harsher have also unveiled their latest single entitled ‘Tower’. Sonically dark, the track is minimalistic with eerie synths accompanying singer Jae Matthews’s haunting vocal performance. It isn’t until the 2 minute and 33 second mark that these chaotic and menacing drums kick in. You can watch a visualiser of the song down below.
