There is something quite pleasant in watching Blur’s video “Lonesome Street”. There are no special effects, no deep script writing, no excess of nudity and no starring supermodels. Of course, all of the above are wonderful, however what we have here are clean shot visuals of line dancing performed by the Phoenix Fly Line Dancing Group of San Francisco, led by Phillip Hui and Betty Yu. Now what is pretty hilarious about the video is, at the end of the performance a few elder people in the audience (the few that are there), simply get up and leave. “Lonesome Street” is directed by Ben Reed and taken from Blur’s The Magic Whip, out April 27th.
