Having ripped through 2019 with the fiery track ‘Black Halo’ and the two song release ‘Temper Temper / So Real’, Austin-based band Black Pistol Fire continue to turn up the heat with their latest single ‘Pick Your Poison’. Whilst generally known for their fuzz-filled, psych meets blues rock sound, the band scale back opting for more of a clean delivery of hard rock with bite. Using grand, stadium style choruses interlaced with sizzling guitar lines, Black Pistol Fire have gone back to the essence to bring forth meat and potatoes rock & roll that is utterly tasty.

Regarding the content of the single, lead singer Kevin McKeown said:

“I was always fascinated by scenarios in which we must choose the lesser of two evils. It can make a person do some heavy soul searching when faced with those type of decisions.”
