2018 is when Brighton band Black Honey released their self-titled debut album. Although the group have dropped a few singles in-between that time, their sophmore LP Written & Directed will finally land on March 19th via Fixfive Records. In fact, you can not only purchase a digital copy, but Black Honey will also release the album on CD, casette and gold vinyl (as a part of a limited edition package).

Giving fans a taste of what’s to come with their song ‘Believer’ which they unveiled last month, Black Honey now bring forth their new single ‘Disinfect’. Whilst the title would be seemingly appropriate for these current times during the pandemic, the track actually touches on the media and people’s addiction to the violence and chaos that get reported. With the instrumentation quite calm during the verses, the production explodes on the hook with raging guitars, hammering drums, sirens and the whole nine.
