London rock outfit Big Joanie join forces with none other than Pixies and The Breeders’ Kim Deal for an updated version of their track ‘Today’.

‘Today’ was originally released on Big Joanie’s 2022 LP Back Home. The new rendition finds Kim Deal adding a wonderful compliment to the already blissful offering. The song is produced by Margo Broom.

Regarding the collaboration, Big Joanie stated:

“Adding to an unending list of surreal moments for this band, we’re so happy to share this revamped version of “Today” from our album ‘Back Home’, featuring additional vocals from Kim Deal.

This song couldn’t even have been written without her influence, and the years we’ve spent listening to The Breeders, PIXIES and The Amps. To hear her voice and harmonies weaving in with Steph’s is just mind blowing. We love everything that she’s brought to this track.”
