Words cannot express how excited we are that Automatic’s second album Excess will finally land on June 24th via Stones Throw Records. This marks the follow-up to their incredible 2019 debut LP Signal.
The Los Angeles trio have already shared the tracks ‘New Beginning’ and ‘Venus Hour’, which will be featured on the forthcoming record. Now they shine at light on corporate culture and the relentless day to day of trying to climb the ladder to the top with their latest cut ‘Skyscraper’.
Automatic have also dropped an accompanying video to the single. Directed by Alexandra Thurmond, ‘Skyscraper’ is the epitome of corporate office life that so many people find themselves dealing with day in and out. The deadpan look on Automatic’s faces whilst performing the song totally sums up everything.
