For the past 20 years multi-disciplinary artist Annie-Claude Deschênes has graced stages, performing with Duchess Says, as well as one of our fave bands PyPy. During that stint, it’s almost hard to fathom that she has never released solo material. However, Annie-Claude Deschênes has now unveiled her new single ‘MENACE MINIMALE’ which is out on Italians Do It Better / Bonsound.

Falling somewhere between synth-pop, club, and new wave, ‘MENACE MINIMALE’ is a pulsing, energetic offering that fosters an air of nostalgia whilst providing a soundtrack for a high dance workout in any venue. While the lyrics of the song deal with the redefining of self, the musicality provides a wonderful balance, marrying deep thoughts with unquestionable grooves.
