Rising Norwegian artist Yndling (Silje Espevik) is a singer/producer whose brand of dream-pop is incredibly atmospheric and vibrant. With two albums already under her belt – 2024’s Mood Booster, as well as her 2022 self-titled debut record, Yndling is slated to release her upcoming LP Time Time Time (I’m in the Palm of Your Hand) on October 31st. Unveiling her song ‘It’s Almost Like You’re Here’ earlier this year, she now shares her latest single ‘Fences’.

‘Fences’ finds Yndling launching into the track with an almost lo-fi bedroom style piece of electronica before building up the production to a shimmering and hypnotic dream-pop stunner. There are also elements of trip-hop embedded in the cut, adding to the charm of the single. With Yndling touching on topics such as mental health and more throughout the track, ‘Fences’ is a brilliant offering from the promising Oslo creative.
