Producer and musician Chris Ward better known as TROPICS has released his new single ‘Ionian Mirage’. The track is taken from his upcoming album Reality Fever Set, out September 3rd via Modern Entity.

‘Ionian Mirage’ is melodic offering that incorporates haunting Rhodes play, these sweltering synth spreads, and even trippy guitar lines that all make for one highly hypnotic listen.

TROPICS has also released visuals to accompany the track which you can watch down at the bottom.

Touching on ‘Ionian Mirage’, TROPICS mentioned:

“This song was about wanting to be on the other side of the world. I was lost in memories of the Mediterranean and Ionian Sea while being stuck in Los Angeles, writing my album and navigating a tough moment in life. It’s about trying to refine that spontaneous feeling which can tend to boil up, listen to yourself when your body and your mind want to run away somewhere, with someone.”
